Where are these fine names from you ask? None other than NIU's College of Business. In fact some of the lecture halls are named after major corporations, including the Caterpillar lecture hall. We've been doing this since I was I in class there in 2011. In fact my OMIS Professor was the Walmart Professor of Excellence.

I'm all for getting every academic and athletic nickel we can from the co's and private donors, and giving them naming rights they can enjoy and benefit from. Great for all public universities. Just please no corporate logos on uniforms. I know pro-soccer does it, but lets keep that one bit of real estate sacred.

I agree, it's a little to a lot tacky. Don't like it in the NBA, don't even like it on NFL practice jerseys.
