Breaking Covid protocols is not "trivial". He risks catching it and then spreading it to the entire team. Missing any more games would thoroughly disrupt the remainder of the season (even more so than it has already been disrupted).

Understand my point. Words matter. If you didn't mean "trivial" then don't say "trivial". Covid effects are not trivial.
