Pinckney was in concussion protocol. Johnson and Pierre was a coach's decision based on an "small academic" issue that they also ran the coliseum steps in weighted vests for. They should all be back for the Tulane game.

Mark Jaackson has also been out the first 2 games in concussion protocol. He should make his Golden Eagle debut at Tulane.

Pinckney took a elbow to the forehead while drawing a charge vs Jacksonville. Jaackson got one in practice when he had his nose broken back in early November and he is just now getting back. Concussions also happen occasionally in basketball when the head smashes against the floor.
