20 plays for 74 yds taking more than 10 minutes off of the clock and NOTHING to show for it? How the hell does that happen? Went for it on fourth down? Missed FG?

Western has a good FG kicker 6 for 7 with the only miss on a 50 yarder with 20 mph winds vs FAU

Turned it over on downs vs BYU. Had first and goal at I believe 2 yardline and gained 1 yard. Like a damn idiot Helton called 2 or 3 pass plays instead of lining up and taking 4 shots at running over or around BYU.

Every drive the ball is snapped with no more than 3 seconds on the play clock. Most of the time with 1 second. Not just against BYU but every snap the last 3 or 4 games.

I honestly believe Helton should be fired with cause...any coach that says this Western offense had a good chance of being 2015 & 2016 good. Doesnt have a freaking clue about what it takes to run a good exciting offense.

I could understand a QB not working out. I still wouldnt liked it but could understand that. But Helton loss me when he compared this teams offense to 2015 & 2016. It just shows he doesnt have a clue and his eye for skilled talent is awful.

Dont think this team is that far off from being a 7 to 8 win team this season......QB makes a difference. Even a average one that mostly make the correct reads and decisions on time. But the coach picked this QB and sticking with him and add that to the comment about 2015 & 2016....

clueless on skill talent

edit: I said I was finished and wasnt going back any more wasnt worth the 7 hour investment of time I had to make for a home game (counting drive time). Well I do love college football and going against what I said and will be there tomorrow. I'm a idiot! that loves suffering

From what I saw, a serviceable qb would do you all a lot of good. However, the talent of Doughty, Higbee, Lucky, and Lamp ain’t there. That one monstrosity of a qb you all had that had us on the ropes before he got strip sacked was really good. He was HUGE! Was that Duncan?

But defense needs to gel a bit.

Last year? That was Storey. This season the qb that came in when Piggy was taken out was KT ...he's 6'4 and 250 and not worth a crap. Cant make a read and if he does get lucky to spot a open WR...he's late with the throw
