Agree. But complicating matters is that the NCAA is giving everybody an extra year of eligibility. For schools with several seniors, that's going to make it impossible to stay within the 13 limit, unless they simply don't sign anybody, which would leave a hole in their future roster.
Will be interesting to see how that's handled. My guess is the limit could be suspended for at least next year, if not beyond.
My bet is the NCAA holds the limit at 13 but provides a scholarship relief/exemption for every senior exercising their additional year of eligibility. In other words, those seniors just will not count toward the 13 scholarship limit.
