Yes, Tarleton is/was set to play UCLA, Gonzaga, Pepperdine and Texas A&M.

No hate toward NMState or the Enchanted Land West of The Great State of Texas, just bustin' some chops and keeping things loose around here. Nothing personal.

On Tarleton's schedule: you're taking on some ranked schools and that's great, it goes with the attitude we're seeing f
But I noticed that in previous years you haven't scheduled many D-I teams. Looks like the last one was TAMU three years ago. Contrast that with Dixie State, they've played UVU a couple times for direct WAC experience. Aren't you worried about a bit of shock the first time on the court?

Tarleton beat TCU in 2005, Baylor in 2007 and lost to Texas A&M by only 9 in 2007. It's not like Tarleton didn't want to schedule them, D1 schools just didn't want to play anymore after those games. The A&M game in 2017 was to celebrate 100 years in the Texas A&M System.

TCU was 6-25 that year and last in the Mountain West, Baylor ended up being a tournament team that year.
