It's not a season shuttering...its a permanent shutdown. Getting out of the athletics business. Gonna pay the professors more.

We have schools for that already, we even have one in our conference and you call them Nerds....Looking at you Rice. In all seriousness education and research should always take priority over the rest when it comes to schools. After all these are called Academic insti'tutions for a reason.

P.S. why are more than half of you 5 FAU fans on the board also rooting for FSU. Its not like Boca Raton and Tallanasty are close or anything. Is there a student transfer program at FAU that sends kids to FSU or something?

Screw academics. Some people root for 2 teams who cares. Some people went to both schools and believe it or not their are a ton of FSU alumni in South Florida.

Not that i care about how and why they are rooting for FSU but that ratio looked abnormal so i figured i clear that up with folks in the know. Anyways didn't know that many FSU alumni lived in the south florida i was under the assumption that most folks south of Gainesville either belong to or root for Canes or Gators.
