And far too many essential workers have also died. This is a national problem but there has been zero leadership and no national approach to the situation from the beginning. Our country is being weakened by all the people who only think of themselves and can't understand making simple sacrifices.

If the risk is so great, why are the stay at home advocates fine with the essential workers taking the risk for them?

Because they're expendable, at least to the "Stay at home" crowd. It's easy to cower at home in "lockdown" while the farmers are producing food, the truckers transporting it, the stores selling it, and people delivering it to their homes.
The light stay on, the water runs, first responders are out there.Society functions because there are people out there making it work.
You can protest, because that's important, but go to work? Open your business? That's irresponsible and selfish!
