Thats why it was so quickly discarded early on---plus it conflicts with the NCAA tournament. I frankly doubt a Spring season will even happen. Nothing is going to be radically different with Covid and then you layer on all the other player safety issues with playing so many games in a such a short span of time---its just a matter of time before everyone throws in the towel on the idea. What I think it will morph into is a glorified extended spring training exercise that ends with a real game (maybe even 2) against conference opponents.
