All I meant was that both sides claim to be the better football team. This crazy year may provide an opportunity to leave it on the field.

After JMU's admin measures the distance from the Bridgforth Stadium parking lot to Foreman Field's visitor's parking spaces with a yardstick to verify the game is close enough ODU gets a home game that would be well attended and fun for both sides.





The "put up or shut up" statement didn't fly, unless you were referring to JMU.

I assumed that was all that you meant. In responding to that thought, all I was saying is that JMU felt similarly about that the times in the past that the two teams met on the field to settle things. JMU came up short each time. I agree that isn't proof that the same results would be guaranteed if the teams played this season - who knows.

As for the possibility of JMU playing one or more games against ODU to fill out each other's schedule - I'd be in favor of it if ODU has a scheduling vacancy or two to fill.
