Will they happen? Clemson had 37 football players test positive, while Texas Tech had 23. Maybe getting it over with now is a good thing. But it is almost July. Morehouse College and other small schools have already cancelled their seasons. P5 schools can likely survive on TV money with no fans. Smaller schools can't. No way anywhere near full stadiums will be allowed with the pandemic getting worse, especially in college football hotbeds like Texas, Florida, and Alabama. With things getting worse, I am less optimistic about fall college sports than I have been at any time since this thing started.

With regard to college basketball, my wife won't attend games until there is a vaccine or a real treatment (i.e. not drinking Clorox). My wife won't let me go and risk bringing Covid home. So it comes down to my marriage vs. LR Basketball. After 40 years, my marriage will likely win out. That is if the games are actually played and fans are allowed to attend. It is still amazing to me that we have handled this worse than any country in the world.
