I don't get why the owner is so recalcitrant to change. At the least, a new logo and perhaps color scheme would mean merch $$$. Do Redskins fans really need to see a dark-skinned Native American head on a red helmet to cheer their team to another losing season? Can they not do that for the Washington Independence or Washington Swamp Monsters or the D.C. Dream Crushers?
