We aren’t dominating anything until we at least get through the west unscathed. We also can’t take CCG losses like we did last year. We may be heading in the right direction, but we are far from a separate entity in CUSA at the moment.

I agree. We need to absolutely dominate CUSA.

If we're going to dominate CUSA, we need to improve our recruiting. Clark is great at getting more from less but eventually we need to create more separation from the rest of the league talent-wise too.

Sometimes I think people here forget or just don’t understand the long lasting effects shutting down the program caused. Other than the benefit we got by being able to offer extended eligibility to judos and transfers we took a multi year recruiting hit. After three successful years the stigma is largely gone with high school recruits but it takes years to recover from the talent loss
