Scott Scherer threw a 24yd TD pass to Billy Kendall with 3 minutes left in the game to put Memphis up 17-16. Then UT drove down and kicked a 34 yd field goal for the win.

Gave up a 44 yard kick return after our go ahead TD.

That was the game when they let some UT fans sing Rocky Top on our tiny new Jumbotron.

Should have been our third straight victory over Tennessee. Nearly had 'em beat at Neyland in '99 too.
