I have only talked to Penny once in person, but I get the idea that this type of offer to Hampton is just the way he is. I think that is a big part of his appeal as a recruiter. This article shows a genuine interest in the player, whether Penny will be getting anything out of it or not.

I'm so glad that Penny is our Tiger coach.
