Quarantine Treasure Trove
With all the time on our hands, the wife has gotten ambitious about cleaning out closets, drawers, etc. A couple of things that have appeared so far are Trojan Game Programs from the 1982-83, and 1983-84 seasons!

Ron Kestenbaum was the coach of both squads. The ‘82-83 team was the one that lost the heartbreaker in the TAAC Finals to Georgia Southern on a shot at the buzzer by Eric Hightower from the deep corner. The 83-84 squad was Kestenbaum’s last, to be replaced by Newell the next year.

Some memorable names from the two squads:
Myron Jackson- both years
Vaughn Williams- Senior 82-83
Duane Washington (Derek Fisher’s cousin)- both years
Jimmy Lampley- Senior 82-83
Dexter Young- both years
Donald Newman- both years
Mike & Ezell Rivers- brothers- both years
