Drew Lowder - Transferring to Eastern Michigan from Holy Cross - Freshmen - 6'0"- PG - 3* from Pioneer HS (Ann Arbor, MI) - Played 1 season at Holy Cross and as a freshman, Lowder started 6 of 12 games averaging 26.3 minutes and 14.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg, and 3.3 apg shooting 43.6% from the field (42% 3PT) and 71.4% FT. As a freshman, Lowder will have to sit out this upcoming season. Coming out of high school, Lowder had received other offers from NIU, Ferris State, Central Michigan, Toledo, and Eastern Michigan.

Lowder appears to be a pretty good player and EMU will have him for his junior and senior seasons.

I’m not expecting him to sit out. He’ll argue that COVID caused him to move home.07-coffee3

We get him for 3 years...

Is that going to be a legitimate reason for a waiver?

And, tbh, I don't doubt you at all.

Frankly I don’t know if it’s a legitimate reason. But I think a LOT of guys are going to try to use it. And the NCAA isn’t going to look great politically if they say “no”.
