The issue with that style is it wear thin eventually. It definitely works, but the question is always for how long before he gets tuned out. Plenty of coaches have had success with this method, but usually all wear out their welcome at some point.

The only difference is with Burke is he’s just as passionate when they do something positive. He’ll meet them at half court to give him a high five, he told Boggs that he was proud of him in the post game last night. While he did lay into Sims, it was constructive and it worked. If he keeps getting results I don’t see why it would wear thin.

Fair. Being just as positive as negative can go a long way into not wearing thin. I would agree with that.
