This doesn't really deserve a response but it should be highlighted so everyone can see this wild claim.

JJ has been here for 7 years and unless I am forgetting someone, Caver was the only 4 year recruit JJ brought in that will pan out. Carver will be the 2nd, though whether he panned out or not would be a completely different discussion if we had a good team. Blaine recruited Bacote, Baker, Denzel Taylor, and Richard Ross in his last 2 years, all 4 year players. Who else besides Caver do you think Jones has recruited that is better than Bacote, Baker, Denzel Taylor, and Richard Ross?

Wade, X and Carver.

Transfers are also recruits. You can't discount all the talent he's recruited via the portal just because it fits your narrative.


Kalu will also be better than Taylor and Ross.
