I'm not sure Roy wants to leave but it's a valid question you ask.

But to give the man his due, he will say if he does leave (and honestly and frankly so) that he is to blame for the slippage the last few years. Roy has his flaws (we all do). I don't find his "aw shucks/dadgum" communication style appealing, for example. But he is not insecure. He will criticize himself and is sincere about given opponents credit. John Calipari (for all his flaws) is similar. I respect Roy for that.

Admittedly, I'm a UNC homer.

I wouldn’t be upset if Williams stepped down and coached a few years at Elon.


Who would you like as Roy's replacement?

It won’t be for a few seasons I’m guessing, but I like Brad Stevens.
