You simply haven’t been paying attention if you want to call our best showing in four years “horrible”. Am I just quibbling over terminology?
Well, our best win was on the road at defending East champion Middle Tennessee, the same caliber team as North Texas (and as Rice). If Rice hadn’t beaten them in those games, they’d have both been playing for a bowl spot yesterday. So, nope, you just haven’t been paying attention.
