the bottom line is we can't compete with our current budget stagnation and excel if our leadership doesn't recognize how the next 'nexus' plays out...

the 1% tax increase was a big move in the correct direction for the Yurt.....what has yet to be witnessed are the results in infrastructural improvements...

Always said the University and the Hub had the perfect opportunity to have a multi-purpose complex with a parking garage when Elam Arms got demolished by the Tornado a decade ago. It wasn't even being used at the time and they could have gotten Federal $$$ to do it along with the insurance. Would have been a win-win for both. Concerts, high school basketball tournaments(State championships). Limited possibilities. Such a waste. Reed Green could have been the Women's basketball and volleyball venue.

it's still disgusts me to this day how certain dollars whiffed (and continue) that opportunity....we all know why it went down that way....

there's a reason the rowdy rail no longer exists....I was second gen on that crew...we took it to an entire other level of nuts zongo....
