I know that would make him happy but once again that isn't enough to keep him if one of the big boys comes calling. Until we get into a p5 or the AAC is accepted as a p6, you can't ever be as good as you would be otherwise. You have absolutely 0 chance of every being in the college playoffs. Anyone who wants to be the best at what they do will have to be at a place that allows it to happen.
You do know that Kentucky, Indiana, Ole Miss, Michigan State, MissState, UNC, Duke and all other non football powers have a hard time keeping successful coaches?
We will do our best to keep him and when leaves he leaves, the next guy will appreciate what we have built to keep Norvell....... until he leaves or is fired. 50k at every game and a lot of $$$$ coming being spent on AsstCoaches, football in general and facilitates will help.. It is what it is.
