Trump set to name 2nd Rice grad in prominent Administration position
Stephen Hahn (Class of 1984) is rumored to be named the new head of the FDA. He's currently the Chief Medical Officer of MD Anderson. He sounds like he would be a good pick. I would think there would be some folks here who have dealt with him on a professional level before.
