Bad News (for EMU):
- WMU is ranked high in the nation on the turnover battle. Uphill battle on that for EMU.
- WMU's D has stepped up surprisingly well. The turnover battle winnings help that.

Good News (for EMU):
- WMU has been demonstratably bad on the road. No team's going to win the turnover battle for Each game. Decent chance WMU doesn't win it this time (or tie).

- Wassink, WMU's QB has been nursing a mild injury and it shows. Thank GAWD WMU's D has stepped up, as WMU's O has been out of sync lately because of said injury. WMU HC says it's getting better, but he's the HC. Who knows.

- EMU's QB matches up well against WMU's D. EMU is not going to be short-changed on points.

It being in Ypsi, it won't be an "upset" if EMU wins. I'm tempted to bet on this game, thinking WMU won't cover the 9pt spread (or even lose). WMU has the potential to Solidly win. Or lose.
Good news for everyone: beer is available for purchase in Rynearson.
