Wonder if the staff can verify the data???

More like 4.45-4.7.

I believe, Pitts, FL TE, kind of broke the mold with a 40 in under 5.0 (around 4.5 seconds).

T.J. Hockenson is a 4.7 guy. I doubt a DT can run with him.

If this DT is under 5.0 is has potential to be an impact FBS player.

Now I have too look up Aaron Donald's 40.

EDIT: "At the NFL Combine, Donald set the record for fastest 40-yard dash time for a defensive tackle with a 4.68."

Pitts ran a 4.44.

I know. 03-idea I said. 4.5 which is 1/2 of a 10th of a second which is literally at the bounds of measurement error even for electric timing.

One has to remember there is measurement error including the ability of the runner to anticipate the sound of the gun.

Regardless, if a DT is anywhere near 4.7, 4.8 or even 4.9 (electronic timing) he will be a force to be reckoned with.

A DT with 4.7 is unblockable in the NFL what would he do in FBS. Oh, I remember him doing it in Detroit at the bowl game.
