Well said. You hit the nail on how "steveR" has been mistaken. He has assumed that if it's not a playoff game its not postseason. But that's obviously not true as bowl games are postseason and most aren't playoffs. Don't have to be a playoff to be postseason, and CCGs are postseason.

sorry but you are wrong...... when are the playoffs selected? That, and only that is the cut off for the end of the regular season.....

Go look anywhere else and they ALL include conference championship games in the regular season....

So Army-Navy is a postseason game? What about in all those years before the CFP -- was there no postseason in college football? Bowl games were regular season because they're not playoffs?

Army/Navy is a different animal. BUT as the CFP said a couple years ago, they would have slowed their selection if that game mattered...
