From Todge's peculiar "writing tics", I've been able to determine that he is not a fan of the following schools:
Houston = "uh" = "dem coogs doh"
North Texas = "north Texas state"
Texas A&M = "aggy" (also invariably referring to the "SEC SEC SEC")
And from his sig, it seems he's not a Longhorns fan either, unless he's quoting ironically. But clearly he likes some school in Texas. Given his location of Westlake, which is in the DFW metro area, I would have to guess either SMU or TCU.

I find that ironic considering you graduated from TCU and crap all over the Big 12.
Glass houses
Actually one has nothing to do with the other.
I’m super honest and admit I’m just an A&M fan when I could absolutely lie to everyone here and say I’m a grad and none of you would ever know otherwise. In fact I’m certain there are many on this board who do just that. But I choose to be honest about my affiliation in the name of fair discussion here. IE the exact opposite of what Todge does which is crapping all over others while refusing to tell us where he went, most likely because he went to a D3 school and no one would take his opinion seriously because of it.
But since you brought it up:
Remind us all, for those who don’t know, why your handle is P5PACSEC and wouldn’t cop to being a Tech fan until you were called out on it?

Power Conference school invests in athletics ? Good , good, good....
G5 school invests in athletics? What the...? Where is this money coming from? Why aren't they building a library?

actually P5 programs spending academic money on athletics is bad bad bad and every P5 member should be moving away from that.
LSU has maybe the best model I've seen - the athletic department not only is not subsidized by the academic side, it is required to provide a certain minimum amount of money to the academic side, and this amount is increased whenever the SEC signs a new deal that brings in more money. IIRC, the current required payment is $7m a year.
And that's a minimum, e.g., in 2015 when the state cut the LSU budget, it was increased to $10m that year to make up the amount cut.
LSU screws up a lot of stuff, but this is the way athletics is supposed to work - supporting the academic side not draining from it.

Simple question from a Tech alum to a frog alum? Do you consider TCU and Texas Tech a little 8 member of the Big 12?
Prove me wrong TCU grad.
So:
You hope the Big 12 remains, but you chose a permanent user name based on the assumption that it may in fact fail. And yet you still whine when anyone else points out the Big 12 may in fact fail.
As for the difference between TCU and Tech well that’s easy
TCU earned its way into the Big 12 and if the Big 12 fails it will have to earn its way into another P Conference. For better or worse TCU controls its own fate.
Tech had to use backroom politics to get into the Big 12 and if the Big 12 fails then it’s fate is 100% out of it own hands because no one wants you as a stand-alone option. You’re desperately hoping to be the admission fee to get the schools they actually want. Better hope at least one P conference feels like highly overpaying to get UT.
The Big Ten said Texas had a “Tech” problem. The SEC already has A&M. The ACC is too far away. It only leaves the Pac-12 as the only realistic option but it’s only because of Texas and Oklahoma not because of their own merit.
TCU earned its power school status. That Rose Bowl victory vs the Big Ten champion paved the way to the Big XII not to mention they won the conference and the Peach Bowl in their third season.
Sure, but just like Tech, TCU will likely have to rely on Texas to escape to a power conference if the Big 12 implodes.
True or more than likely they will be left behind but they’ve never used any political power to tag along their big brothers like the schools in Waco and Lubbock.
If there’s something TCU has done since 1996 is adapt and overcome to the changing landscape in college sports. I used to give them a hard time for switching conferences all the time but I respect them for being pro active. If they’re left behind, they’ll be fine and prove to the doubters that they can still win at the highest level with or without the University of Texas being in the same conference.

But hey just go ahead and post the link to where you explain it so the whole class can read it

I can choose any name I want. I also hope the Big 12 survives for decades to come.
Tech earned an invitation from the Big 12 on its own merit. Period. End of story.
After aggy left, the Big 12 had the following options in Texas for a replacement; TCU, Houston, North Texas, UTEP and SMU. Job well done Frog.
That’s not true. None of those schools (you forgot Rice) were seriously considered. It was TCU or bust if they wanted a replacement in Texas. Now you can argue the Big XII had other options like Louisville once they invited West Virginia or perhaps BYU but there’s a reason why they chose TCU over those two. The Big XII dodged a bullet with Louisville. Let the ACC deal with that albatross.
Dodged a bullet, how?
