5 most beautiful college towns

I have spent time in both Boone and San Marcos. I spent the night in a dorm in Boone in 1970 when a friend and I competed in the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. He knew the kids whose room we stayed in.

Spent even more time in San Marcos. Both schools rank very high in beauty. I am thinking of pretty girls.

Overall I would rank Appalachian State as having the best background setting. SouthWest Texas State as best campus.

I would rank my home town of DeFuniak Springs as better than both except it's only college is a branch of NW Florida State.
