Agreed. The motley amalgamation of ACC schools that they have zero historical ties with has harmed the Irish schedule. Purdue and MSU should be annual games, and Michigan two years on and two years off, to keep it special.

Then again, as someone else said in this thread, nobody at Notre Dame cares, or is even aware of, what i think.

The part I hate the most about the ND deal is that schools they ought to be playing annually like BC and Pitt are just part of the rotation.

I really wish the Big Ten and Notre Dame could have come to some terms back when the league had 11 members. Figure out what companion schools in the Northeast ND wanted and closed the deal. Back out Nebraska as #12 and add ND, BC, Pitt, Cuse, and Rutgers.

Split something like this:

East: BC, Cuse, Pitt, Penn St, Rutgers, ND, Purdue, Mich St
West: Iowa, Wisc, Minn, Ill, NW, Ind, Ohio St, Mich

Protected crossovers:

Purdue-Ind
Mich-Mich St
