It appears the selection committee finally put more stock in mid majors going 2-2, 3-2, 2-1 versus quadrant 1 than the power 5 team that goes 3-10 against that group. It was pretty consistent across the board, and I’m a fan of this. If that trend continues it will really help CUSA get a shot at two bids in the future.

As far as the NIT we used to make it because we were a top 50ish RPI and beat some top 100 teams. We are sitting in the 150ish range these days. That explains it in a nutshell.
