MAC Quarterfinals - Kent State vs. Central Michigan
The Golden Flashes open up the MAC Tournament this Thursday at the "Q" against the 5th seeded Central Michigan Chippewas. CMU beat Kent State 84-74 back on February 19th in Mount Pleasant. This was a game that saw Jaylin Walker shoot 2-16 from the field (although he did make 10 free throws). Lets hope that he is not only available on Thursday, but ready to shoot at a much better rate.

One would think that a high scoring affair favors CMU and a defensive struggle favors the Flashes. But at this point in the season, who knows.

Kent State and Central Michigan are both 8-6 away from home. The only difference is that for CMU this includes games played on neutral floors.

I assume that Flannery's will be the pre and post game headquarters for Golden Flash fans. If so, here's to some spirits and a KSU K.O on Thursday. Should the Flashes win, I'll even cheer for Akron Thursday evening!

GO FLASHES!
