No. Trump needs a Congress that cares as much as he does about the country, as little as he does about playing political games, and will do what they are supposed to do - i.e. pass laws for the good of the public.

Trump thrives on chaos and suspense. He always needs an issue so that he can use it to go on the attack. It's the old talk radio game. Everyday there is something new to be outraged about and somebody that's keeping us down. Promote grievance and anger amongst the people, then some news story that keeps Trump as the center of attention and hero to his base everyday.

Trump plays the hand he is dealt well and that includes all of the chaos coming in daily from the left. He doesn't "need" an issue. He goes on the "attack" because he is standing up to the lefts political games and their attacks on him, his administration, and those that voted him into office. Just a few examples of such -

* Attempting to hijack the election by getting the members of the Electoral College to go against the vote of their state in the national election and vote for Hillary instead so Trump wouldn't have enough votes to win.

* Putting him in a 2+ year investigation for "Russian Collusion" with the 2016 election when all data points to the Democrats as being the only ones that had any collusion with Russia.

* Slow walking his Presidential appointments. To this day the Dems in Congress still haven't approved numerous people up for the positions.

* Attempting to smear the name of his latest nominee for the Supreme Court at all costs in order to block that appointment.

No, I think the Democrats and their actions are the cause, and Trump is merely firing back at them. Glad to finally see someone that doesn't stand for their harmful, devious, calculated political ploys.

Hillary lost more electoral votes than Trump did.
The collusion of Hillary with Britain and Russia to impact the election was uncovered, along with treasonous people in the FBI.
Filibuster of court appointments eliminated.
Democrats in VA and CA have to face serious charges by people inspired by the fake smears against Kavanaugh.

Everything has backfired on them.

That's what happens when "right" isn't on your side.
