But for example what about in the Super Bowl when Gilmore grabs Cooks arm which contributes to him not catching a touchdown? Some people think that’s blatant, some don’t think it’s blatant. It’s just going to open the door for more arguing about what’s blatant and what isn’t. People will always find something to complain about when it comes to officiating.

Officiating is never going to be without controversy. But I think the idea is to not have something as ridiculously bad as the TommyLee no-call. I know what you're saying about the Cooks play. But we see that every game. The benefiting fans say - good call. The penalized fans say - bad call. But the no-call on Lewis was unanimously bad. Even the DB who committed the penalty knew it should be flagged. It had ramifications outside of that one play. I felt it hurt the integrity of the game. Maybe even some carried over into the Super Bowl as to how people viewed that matchup/outcome. Fans will be talking about that no-call 20 years later. Just mention the name Hue Hollins to any long time Bull's fan.
