Yeah. That's a valid point on in that the relationship seems to be mutual. ie, both parties seem more than happy with things as is and figure they could each do A LOT worse. Plus, he's alumni and all that. And it's not like NU really has a history of football dominance where they can demand competing for national championships. They seem more than happy with what they have going on.

TBH, it's a special and unique relationship that is rarely seen in this day and age at any FBS program, let alone a P5 program.
