When Will UTA Get Football
Is anybody else losing patience? I can see it happening, gradually.
Construction of new basketball/volleyball facility. Check.
Upgrades to baseball stadium. Check
Upgrades to softball stadium. Check
New batting cages and indoor practice facilities. Check
Upgrades and additions to locker rooms and training rooms. Ongoing
New Women's Golf Team. Check
Women's Soccer Team. Unknown, maybe pending.
Upgrades to Maverick Stadium. Recent turf and ongoing maintenance at FCS level.
Behind the scenes maneuvering. Check? - Neinas study has probably been updated.
Other possible moves:
Start or officially support club teams. W Soccer already exists, as does W Gymnastics
South Alabama showed how to support and grow a Club Football team that helped them to get a feel for community, student and fan support, as well as logistics.
