A lot of these guys played together for Midwest Boom football which is a developmental 7 on 7 for the areas best athletes. A few decided to team up at NIU. Many of the current players are helping with recruiting and Carey is hitting Illinois hard for recruiting. I’m excited to see this pipeline continue. There’s no question based off all the tweets/videos that these kids absolutely love it at NIU. I think some of our negative fans are really underestimating what Carey is starting to build here.
