Buffalo has beaten a bunch of bad teams just like us. Let's not overrate them. They have one win over a team with a winning record (5-4 Temple). The best team they've played, Army, destroyed them.

They’re absolitely beatable, but if NIU loses to them it’s not grounds to fire Carey lol.

The only time I’ve ever remotely considered maybe pulling the plug on Carey was during the 5-7 year, but even then he deserved another year to show what he had. They rebounded well last year and even better this year.

The 5-7 year was when I was the most concerned, because the win total kept going down. Of course that year the QB injuries hurt. Last year there was a little improvement. This year they've done better so far, on defense at least - but the MAC is down. We've played Toledo with their backup QB, Akron lost their QB during the game, and WMU has their backup playing also. And most EMU fans think their injured QB is better than Wiegers (sp?). So we're going through a MASH unit MAC West. There are no Gradkowski's, Lefevours, Roethlisbergers, Nate Davis's, Woodside's, or even Shane Morris's to beat this year.

Not sure the MAC is that down. Akron beat the Big 10 West Champs .... and Purdue lost to EMU, both on the road. The MAC always has parity ... some mistake this for weakness.

Yea, but Akron beat Northwestern with Nelson at QB the whole game. He was moving the ball pretty well against NIU until he got injured. He threw for basically 300 yards while playing less than 3 quarters.

I don't confuse parity with weakness. I equate losing almost every bowl game with weakness.
