Question - Streaming TV channels
It felt good in my wallet when I dumped Direct TV and started using Sling on my ROKU. However, Sling has some issues. Picture quality on ESPN is often bad, and is delayed noticeably behind "gamecast" apps. Plus, Sling does not offer CBS-SN, and UC has a # of both fb and bb games on CBSSN.
I have tried and rejected several of the "European rebroadcasters" - unreliable and they seem to be a good way to get malware in your systems. I want to be able to just turn my TV on and find the right channel without drama.
A little research shows alternatives:
Playstation Vue @ $49.99 plus tax - includes CBSSN and all the ESPN variants and many Fox.
YouTube TV @ $40 plus tax - includes CBSSN and all the ESPN variants and many Fox
Hulu Streaming @ 39.99 plus tax - includes CBSSN and all the ESPN variants and many Fox
Other options I spotted seemed to be missing these elements I was looking for.
Finally my question(s):
If you have experience with any of these 3, how is their picture quality from ESPN and CBSSN?
Do you have the delay issues I have noted with ESPN on Sling?
Any issues logging onto ESPN3 with these provider settings?
Thanks - and feel free to add other notes as appropriate.
