It's not paranoia in the sense that they're afraid UAB is going to start beating Bama on the field or for recruits anytime soon. They just have a will to dominate and monopolize everything more than I've seen with anyone else. Like I said, it's not that they're afraid of UAB in the near time they just think every single dollar donated to UAB is a waste and instead should have been sent to Tuscaloosa. The fact that Bama is already swimming in cash is irrelevant because they think all possible dollars that exist should be sent to Tuscaloosa.

The only parts of UAB they truly care about are the hospital, med school, and research enterprise because they're a cash cow.
