Harnish was bad as a freshman. I don't remember him being too hot as a sophomore either. We need Childers to play better or we will have to watch teams just stack the box against us and our offense will be ineffective until we play bad MAC teams.

In this system , I just don't think dramatic improvement in the QB position is something that is realistic. The problem runs much much deeper than QB. QBs are not even given a chance to succeed right now

When exactly did that start? Obviously Harnish and Lynch succeeded. Hare seemed to be doing alright, and Maddie did fairly well for not having played most of his career.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if all of our QBs get gun-shy for fear of turning the ball over, since that appears to be an unforgivable error.

When Maddie was running the offense it felt like NIU offense of old. He really deserved to get another year of eligibility. It was too bad he didn't.

Yea, he seemed to be a playmaker. Disappointed he didn't get another year, would've been interesting.
