They probably should have canceled the Ark St. and Texas St. series to help those guys out.

The Texas State series I think hurt more as it was last. A sweep there or even a series win has the Cajuns at worst in the lower 50's (50-53). I still think they'd be in the same situation with regard to wins needed in the tournament but it would have been a little better margin for error. Our first half of the season put us in the situation where we are right now. We performed much better against high ranked OOC teams than we did against the early conference teams where we should have been much more competitive. When you hit 0.200 as a team and don't get any hits with runner in scoring position it's tough to win games. We'll have to see if we can continue the trend of better hitting or not.
