Why would coach Ehsan sign a player who is going to have to sit out one year and then have only one year of eligibility left? It just doesn't make sense. He is going to sit out for an entire season and then suit up season after next with the possibility of only being an actual asset to the team for only one season. I am merely looking at the big picture, the long term benefit of the teams success. It just seems like to me that next season, when he sits out, he is of no actual benefit to the team at all and then when he suits up for his only eligible senior season, there is a distinct possibility that he may very well not receive much playing time, if any, during his only year of eligibility.
+1
Not to attack you like the other a**holes but a few positives.
Gives us an second scholarship for 2020. Senior with JuCo Will Butler.
Gives an point guard option next year to take scootie off the ball (can't say that about this year). Should see where Hurtado is at point then go from there
Helps continue this new Kentucky player pipeline. More guys on the roster from Kentucky then Alabama or Birmingham.
How are we being aholes? We signed the guy to contribute and he looks like a good player. Some of your favorite players ever were one year transfers under the genius that is mike davis.
