Northern Colorado joining the Summit and the non-Summit MVFC schools becoming football affiliates is not necessarily likely, but certainly more likely than the "Great Northern" (although that's not saying much). If it did happen, which football school would be in the west for scheduling purposes, UNI or Missouri State? Missouri State is technically farther west, but UNI is closer to the Dakota schools.

Have long said that ORU would vote for it, as they are paid pawns for realignment, having been granted free readmittance to the Summit if they did what was required for a free invite to the WAC. An eventual free slot in the WAC will be given free when they invite their football schools too as a travel partner of UMKC 7 of 9 Summit schools is 77%. Thought PUFW would be gone by July 1st, making the vote 6 of 7.

Per the article you linked, Delaney said he thought it would have been a good idea to put to the Dakotas in the Big Sky. However, he did not say that it's actually happening, nor that your FBS Summit/Great Northern/WAC/ASUN nonsense is happening.

Given how much of a genius you are, it's strange that you would have stuck around this board for 13 years. Given that Idaho left 20 years ago, he’s isn’t so much regretting the past, but projecting with them aboard. He was very gracious not to slam Portland St (which plays most fb games in a Hillsboro HS stadium as a pro women’s soccer team has precedence there) and Sacramento St (which still doesn’t have an arena of more than 1000 ever since they moved up). He only took an indirect shot at Cal St-Northridge, which dropped fb and left the conference. Very AD-esque of him.

You are right that he’s not projecting it because the “other” division would be mainly slop. Only Weber St stands out for fans and facilities. He’s laying out the fact that the Dakotas and Idaho are almost the only ones worthy of associating with.
