LOL. S Korea has been "amiable" for years. This has to do with two things. Trump has made it more and more difficult for N Korea. Two, the NK missile program is far enough advanced that it can give NK the leverage they think they need in any "negotiation".

Now, here is the reality. It doesnt matter. An agreement is only as good as it signees. Im EXTREMELY skeptical that this is anything other than a way to buy more time for the missile program to further develop. I simply dont believe Kims serious about nuclear disarmament and the nations track record would indicate that Im likely to be dead on correct. I suspect Trump knows this as well.

How? His rhetoric toward them only resulted in their defiance with more tests.

Yeah....so? Show me some correlation. Else, you're just making a wild assumption with no basis in any fact. The changed nothing with their development and their testing. And you pretty much admitted (as is my belief) that their desires now are mainly due to the fact that they are finally in a legitimate state of strength like they've never been before.
