The thing that really gets to me is that we get little respect even among non-power teams much less P5. Case in point is Rhode Island. Everybody seems to love RI. If you look at CBS or ESPN bracketology they have RI as a 5 seed and MT as either an 11 or 12. Heck, Lunardi even has us playing RI in the 12/5 game. Never mind that RI has exactly the same number of Quadrant 1 wins as we do.

Presumably this goes back to some of the issues I've talked about with scheduling regarding northeast basketball and the inherit bias. Does anyone actually believe that RI is worthy of being seven seeding spots ahead of MT?

If you look at it statistically as of right now MT should be an 8 and RI should be a 6.
