RE: How Do You See Your Football Team Finishing In 2018
Charlotte returns most of a 1-11 team. The bright spot is that this season’s redshirt freshman is th best recruiting class we’ve had. We should be improved everywhere, because it can’t get any worse, right? However, we have no decent starting QB and the backups are barely FCS level.

Worst case is a win over Fordham followed by 11 losses.
Realistic scenario is beating Fordham, then sneaking up and stealing a couple of wins to go 3-9. ODU, Western, UMass, App, and even FIU (2 losses in two years by 2 points) could be victims. I don’t expect to compete against UT, FAU, Middle, USM, UAB or Marshall.
In the absolute worst case, we steal three or four wins, go 4-8 or 5-7 and the new AD thinks we should give Lambert another year.

It’s going to be a strange year. I want us to win home games, I don’t want us to get beaten up to badly, I want to see improvement all over the field.

I do not want us to win too much.
