CSU Bakersfield is out after next year, and Cal Baptist is just coming on board. 4 years til they’re tourney eligible. UMKC wants to bounce when the Summit may come calling. Better to have Chi State then to lose an auto bid.

Where is Bakersfield going?

Big West Conference

I think Tarleton State may be the key to help keep the WAC from losing the autobid to the tournaments. Bringing 2 D2 schools up at the same time would not hurt the WAC. Southland Conference pulled it off with Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word. I have a feeling that Chicago State could be gone next year. They are more of an NAIA school now with their enrollment.

Tarleton State and West Texas A&M are from my neck of the woods, and would both be solid additions IMO.
