I hope Childers works his butt off to become a consistent passer next year. I hope the coaching staff comes up with a lot better running scheme as well. All we did with Huff and Harbs were inside handoffs to the middle where it was either feast or famine. Our running game was absolutely basic and predictable. Let’s use Harbs to his fullest potential and not waste his talent like we wasted Huff’s. Please!

Childers loses his freshman disclaimer next year. No more, "He's a good QB - for a freshman". He will not be eligible for the MAC Freshman of the Year award. He will have to be judged among other MAC starting QBs. In '17, I do not think he was among the top 5 MAC QBs

Hopefully there is a reason we didn't burn the redshirt on Hall. If he is more dynamic then he needs an opportunity to win the job. Childers hasn't done anything to be given the keys right out of spring ball.
