Agree on basketball. I think we should even consider playing the game annually at the Hampton Coliseum and make it a bigger event for the entire area.

Not happpening however in football unless we choose two FBS OOC (personally wouldn't mind that). No way W&M is going to substitute games with UVA, Tech, Stanford, etc. to play ODU.

And no way we’re playing on a neutral site/Hampton Coliseum. Keep dreaming.

As if Scope wasn't bad enough. I'd much rather schlep up to W&M every other year and let them schlep down here.

Absolutely - their post is trying to say they’re on the same level as us in basketball, and thus merit higher status at a neutral site for the benefit of the community. Which is an absolute joke. However, the poster above is indicating they have higher level options at football (Stanford, UVA, Tech) and wouldn’t dare stoop to change their football schedule to play us. They are not as good as they think they are.

W&M isn't on the same level as ODU in basketball. We're better than ODU in basketball and the CAA is a better basketball conference than CUSA. And, playing VT, WVU, and Standford for our FBS game trumps playing the Monarchs.

I'm sure you'll post an argument to the facts I just presented then turn around and reply to your own post. It's a little creepy that you reply to your own posts but that edit button in the upper right hand corner has confounded many a poster so don't feel badly.
